Products it produces are sports shoes, clothing, and gear(also hunting and fishing). Kevin Plank is the designer of created the CID logo. Phase 3In this phase we had the task of creating our own logo type. We had to incorporate our research and manifest our creativity into a thumbnail. I decided to go into the basketball clothing line, and It took me three days to come up with my finishing thumbnail. After having it approved, I went into Adobe Illustrator. The following logo was created with the type of Impact bold.I equally spaced the type to match with the spacing of my logos white fills. The "c" in Conquer was slightly heightened to to show dominance and power. After finishing my slick sheet I proceeded in incorporating color into my logo. I used a simple PATONE solid uncoated of 167 u for the basketball, and left the rest as black. I enjoyed this project because it gives me experience on how long it takes to make a logo.
Phase 4In this phase our goal was to create a stationary packet. Instead of using Adobe Illustrator we used Adobe InDesign. I already had a bit experience in this program, so i didn't have much difficulty in creating my business card, letter head, memo pad, and envelope. At first I went in Illustrator to make my ghosted image for the background of my stationary packet. Next, I went into InDesign and put everything together with my factitious address, email, website, and phone number. I converted everything into a pdf file, then into a JPEG. Overall, I really enjoyed this project in making our own business.
